Re-STORE

Re-STORE launches revitalization processes that focus on so-called liminal spaces; material, spatial, natural
dimensions of life that do not occupy the dominant spaces investors and developers usually focus on, but the
spaces in-between that offer fertile ground for co-creative experimentation by their inhabitants, human,
non-human (material) or other-than-human (nature). Increasing the visibility of the traces left in these
liminal spaces actively contributes to the overall sense of belonging of everyone and everything that resides
in a particular cultural area.

Re-STORE is a project developed by K.U.Leuven and various Una Europa partners in the context of the New European Bauhaus – HORIZON 2020 program. Together with Karin Hannes and stakeholders from the academic, professional and social sectors, I shaped the narrative, and advised on the heritage aspect within the project application, expanded the project consortium, and shaped the project application.
